Now, from what I gather, there’s this here totem thing. A totem, mind you, like them Injuns used to have, or maybe still do. But this ain’t no real totem, see? It’s in the game. You gotta go and get it. Sounds like a chore to me, but these young’uns, they love this kinda stuff.
They say you gotta get it from some kinda shaman. A “Mo’grosh Shaman,” they call him. Sounds like a troublemaker to me. You gotta fight him, I reckon, and then take his totem. Loot it, they say. Like stealin’ but in a game, I guess. It’s in the “consumables” they say. That means you use it up, then it’s gone. Like a good piece of candy, ya know?
- First, find this Mo’grosh fella.
- Then, beat him up real good.
- Take his totem. It’s yours now!
Now, this totem, it ain’t always been there. They added it in some update. These game folks, they always changin’ things up. Keepin’ the young’uns busy, I s’pose. And it seems like there’s different ways to get totems, too. Some you fight for, some you buy. Heard tell of one you get in some place called Stranglethorn Vale. Sounds dangerous! They got some kinda “Blood Moon” thing goin’ on there, some kinda fightin’ event. You win, you get a totem. Simple as that.
Folks online, they’re always yappin’ about this stuff. Wonderin’ where to find this shaman, or that totem. This game, it’s a whole world, they say. You can do all sorts of things. Fight monsters, collect stuff, even just wander around. Me, I’d rather sit on the porch and watch the chickens, but to each their own, I say.
This “Phase 6” they talk about, sounds like it’s a big deal. Lots of new stuff, they say. New things to do, new things to get. This totem is just one little piece of it. It’s all part of this “Season of Discovery,” like I said. They discoverin’ new ways to keep folks playin’ that game, seems to me.
So, if you’re playin’ this World of Warcraft thing, and you want that totem, well, you know what to do. Go find that shaman, or go to that Stranglethorn Vale, and get it. Just be careful out there. It’s a wild world, even if it ain’t real. And don’t be spendin’ all your time on that game, mind you. There’s chores to be done! And remember, it’s just a game. Don’t get too worked up about it. There’s more important things in life, like a good cup of coffee and a warm biscuit, ya know?
They keep changin’ this game, addin’ new stuff all the time. It’s hard to keep up, I tell ya. But that’s how they get ya, keepin’ you hooked. This totem thing, it’ll probably be old news next month. They’ll have somethin’ new to chase after. That’s just how it goes.
