Alright, so you wanna know about them Runes of Magic players, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t like them fancy games with millions of folks playin’. This one’s a bit… quieter, ya know?

Now, them Steam folks, they keep track of things. They say there’s about 57 folks playin’ right now, this very minute. That ain’t a whole lot, is it? Heck, back in 2018, they had a whole bunch more, like 625 or somethin’. Guess folks moved on to other things.
Where they all at?
They say this game ain’t high up on the list of them MMO games, whatever that means. Ranked somethin’ like 117 out of 140. And they reckon there’s only about 25… well, I ain’t sure what that 25 is, maybe 25 servers or somethin’. Don’t really matter, I guess.
- Big fights happen sometimes: I heard tell that the big fightin’, the “Siege War” they call it, that’s where you see most of the folks. Them high-level groups, they get into it, I guess.
- Private places to play: And if you really wanna play, some folks say you gotta go find a “private server.” Sounds secret, don’t it? Like playin’ in somebody’s basement or somethin’. They say one of them “Chapter 2” servers is pretty good, no crashin’ and such.
More numbers and such…
Steam, they got all sorts of numbers. How many folks own the game, how long they play, all that jazz. I ain’t gonna bore ya with it, but it’s there if you want it.
Where them players are from…
Now, from what I hear, them German folks, they like this game a lot. Got the most players on their server, or so they say. And lots of folks play on the EU server, that’s the one that comes up first, I guess.
Just a few folks left…
But truth be told, there ain’t a whole lot of folks playin’ no more. Maybe 200 or so? And some of them, they’ve been playin’ forever, spent a whole lotta money and time on it. Guess they really like it, or maybe they just don’t know what else to do.
About the game itself…
There’s this fella named Jones, lost somewhere near a house maid, gotta show him a doll token or somethin’. Sounds like a wild goose chase to me. And folks complain about havin’ to pay to win, buyin’ all sorts of things in the shop. But hey, that’s how it is with these games, ain’t it?
They used to raise the level cap, but it’s stayin’ at 100 now. Don’t mean much to me, I ain’t playin’ the game, just tellin’ ya what I heard.

Not a whole lotta folks playin’ Runes of Magic, but the ones that do, they seem pretty dedicated. It ain’t the biggest game around, but hey, if you like it, you like it. Nothin’ wrong with that.
