Well, howdy there! Let me tell ya ’bout this here Totem Tribe game, or whatever they call it. It’s a kinda thing where you gotta build up your own little group, like a family but bigger, ya know? They call ’em tribes.
First off, I heard tell there’s this Hawk Tribe, and you gotta help this lady, Aruku I think her name was. She’s the boss, and she wants her people to do good, real good. Like, have plenty to eat, a good place to live, and no fighting with the neighbors. That’s what I always say, get along with folks, it makes life easier. So, you go ’round, doin’ stuff for them. Findin’ things they lost, solvin’ puzzles. Lord knows I’ve lost enough things in my life, wish someone would come find them for me!
Now, this game, it ain’t just about farmin’ and buildin’, though you do plenty of that. It’s like one of them stories where you go on adventures too. Kinda like lookin’ for a lost sheep, but instead of a sheep, it might be a shiny rock or a secret message. And the puzzles, some of ’em are real head-scratchers. Makes you think harder than figurin’ out how to fix a leaky roof, I tell ya. And I’ve fixed my fair share of leaky roofs.
- Buildin’ stuff: You gotta make houses and places to work, so your tribe can grow big and strong.
- Findin’ things: They call it hidden object seekin’, like lookin’ for your glasses when they’re on your head.
- Puzzles: Gotta use your brain, figure out how things work, like puttin’ together a quilt, but harder.
- Adventures: Goin’ on trips, seein’ new places, meetin’ new folks, just like when I went to the county fair last year.
The game, they say you can play it on all sorts of things. Your phone, your computin’ machine, even them tablet things the youngsters use. No need to go downloadin’ a bunch of stuff, just start playin’. Which is good, ‘cause I ain’t got the patience for all that computer rigmarole. Back in my day we didn’t have no such things.
This Totem Tribe II, it’s a bigger game, I reckon. They say it’s an “MMO strategy,” whatever that means. Sounds fancy. But it’s also got them adventures and puzzles too. And it’s got this “RPG” thing, which I guess means you get to play a part, like actin’ in a play, but on the computer. It’s like livin’ another life, but without all the hard work and achin’ bones.
Seems like there’s different ways to play. Some folks download the whole thing, “Totem Tribe Gold” they call it, for free even! But others, they just play it online, I guess. Either way, you’re tryin’ to make your tribe the best, the strongest, the happiest. And that’s somethin’ I can understand. Always wanted the best for my family, still do. Just like Aruku wants for her Hawk Tribe. It’s all about lookin’ after your own, makin’ sure they’re safe and sound.
Now, I heard tell you can even play this game on one of them “Android App Players” on your computin’ machine. Sounds complicated, but I guess it’s just a way to play phone games on a bigger screen. For folks with eyes not as good as they used to be, like mine, that’s probably a good thing. I swear, sometimes I can’t see the forest for the trees, or the needle in the haystack, or whatever that sayin’ is. But with a big screen, maybe even I could see what I’m doin’ in this game.
This here game, it’s got a bit of everything, it seems. Buildin’, explorin’, thinkin’, and even a bit of fightin’, I’d wager, though I ain’t heard much about that part. But mostly, it’s about workin’ together, helpin’ each other out, and buildin’ somethin’ good. And that’s somethin’ we could all use a little more of in this world, I reckon. So, if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ to do, somethin’ to keep your mind busy, give this Totem Tribe a try. Might just surprise ya. It might be more fun than a barrel of monkeys, or at least keep you out of trouble for a while.
And remember, always treat your neighbors right, even if they’re from a different tribe. That’s the way to a good life, believe you me.
