Alright, listen up, y’all. We gonna talk about this… this “Honda Rune” thingamajig. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Like somethin’ outta a comic book or somethin’. But from what I hear, it’s a motorcycle. A big, shiny one, I reckon.
Now, I ain’t never seen one of these Runes in person. We mostly got tractors and beat-up pickup trucks ’round here. But the internet, that thing my grandkid showed me, says these Runes are somethin’ special. Rare, they say. Hard to find, like a hen’s tooth, you know?
They sayin’ folks are lookin’ to buy a Honda Rune. Seems like a powerful machine, this one. Got a big ol’ engine, a six-cylinder they call it. Means it’s got a lotta oomph, I guess. Enough to get you down the road real quick, that’s for sure. They say it goes somethin’ like 123 miles per hour! Good Lord, that’s faster than anythin’ I ever seen move, ‘cept maybe a twister.
And get this, they say each one of these bikes cost Honda a whole heap of money to make. Like, a hundred thousand dollars or more! Can you believe that? For a motorcycle? That’s more money than most folks ’round here see in a lifetime. But they didn’t sell ’em for that much, no sir. They sold ’em for somethin’ like 27,000 dollars. Still a lot of money, but way less than what it cost to make ’em. Sounds like bad business to me, but what do I know? I just raise chickens and grow tomatoes.
Now, nobody seems to know for sure how many of these Runes they made. Some folks say 800, some say 3000. Either way, it ain’t a whole lot, considerin’ how many cars and trucks they make every year. So if you got one of these Runes, you got yourself somethin’ pretty special, I reckon.
- Powerful Engine: Big six-cylinder thing, goes real fast.
- Rare: Ain’t many of ’em around. Hard to find.
- Expensive to Make: Cost Honda a fortune, but they sold ’em cheaper.
I heard tell some folks in Europe are sellin’ these Runes. Places called “Car Classic” or somethin’ like that. They got all sorts of old cars and bikes, I guess. If you got the money, you can go over there and buy yourself one. But you better bring a big sack of cash, ’cause I bet they ain’t givin’ ’em away.
This Honda nrx 1800 rune, that’s what they call it sometimes, it ain’t just any ol’ motorcycle. It’s got this fancy lookin’ design, all chrome and shiny. And it’s big, real big. Not somethin’ you’d wanna ride on a dirt road, I reckon. This is a street bike, for showin’ off, I guess. It’s a head-turning motorcycle for sure.
They got somethin’ called a five-speed transmission, whatever that is. And it’s got somethin’ called a shaft drive, which I guess means it ain’t got a chain like them little motorcycles the kids ride. And it’s got, what, 118 horsepower? That’s a lot of horses, ain’t it? More than my old tractor, that’s for sure.
So, if you’re lookin’ for a Honda Rune for sale, you gotta be ready to spend some money. And you gotta be quick, ’cause these things go fast, both on the road and in the market. And if you find one, you take care of it, you hear? Don’t go wreckin’ it on some back road. That’d be a shame, wastin’ a perfectly good, fancy motorcycle like that.
I tell you what, if I had that kind of money, I might just buy one myself. But I’d probably just end up sellin’ it. Too much bike for an old lady like me. I’ll stick to my chickens and tomatoes, thank you very much. But it’s somethin’ to think about, ain’t it? A big, shiny motorcycle that goes real fast. Maybe in my next life, I’ll be young again and ride one of them Runes down the highway, wind in my hair… or what’s left of it, anyway.
Now, I ain’t no expert on motorcycles, but I know a thing or two about common sense. And common sense tells me that this Honda Rune is somethin’ special. So if you got the chance to get one, don’t hesitate. Just make sure you got enough money to pay for it, and a safe place to keep it. And for goodness sake, wear a helmet!
