Well, you can ask about pretty much anythin’, I reckon. But they say it’s good to ask questions that help you understand yourself better. Like, “Why do I get so mad when Bessie the cow won’t come in for milkin’?” Or “What am I really good at, besides makin’ apple pie?” You know, stuff like that.

- What am I missin’ about myself?
- How can I not get so worked up all the time?
- Why does that no-good dog keep diggin’ up my garden?
- What scares me the most?
- What am I good at, and what ain’t I so good at?
- What should I be payin’ attention to right now?
- What troubles am I havin’, and how do I fix ’em?
- How can I do what I’m supposed to be doin’ in life?
- What can I learn from things that happened before?
- How can I get along better with folks?
- What’s gonna happen with that fella I like?
Now, hold on a minute…
Some folks, the smarty-pants ones, they say there ain’t no real proof this card stuff works. They say it ain’t scientific. Well, maybe so. But sometimes, it’s nice to have somethin’ to help you think things through. And sometimes, a little bit of hope, or a little bit of a nudge in the right direction, that’s all you need.
And this yes or no thing? That’s just a one-card deal. You think real hard on your yes or no question, and you pick a card. And there’s your answer. Simple as pie.
So, there you have it. Ask-a-question tarot card readin’ in a nutshell. Don’t go thinkin’ it’s gonna solve all your problems, but it might just give you a little somethin’ to chew on. And sometimes, that’s all a body needs.
