totem arro explained (simple guide for beginners)

This here thing, totem arro, it’s somethin’ else. I heard folks talkin’ ’bout it, sayin’ it’s like magic for your ears. Now, I ain’t no fancy music person, but I like a good tune as much as the next gal. So, I got to thinkin’, maybe I should learn a bit more about this totem arro thingamajig.

They say it’s a speaker, but not just any old speaker. It’s a special kind, a “mini-tower” they call it. Sounds kinda fancy, don’t it? Like a little building just for your music. And it’s s’posed to be like the Dreamcatcher, but taller. Dreamcatcher, that’s another one of them fancy speakin’ things. I reckon if you like the Dreamcatcher, you’ll like this totem arro, too. They’re made by the same folks, up in Canada. Good people, them Canadians. Always makin’ nice things.

One thing I heard is that these totem arro speakers, they ain’t heavy. You know, some of them speakers, they weigh a ton. But not these. They’re made outta somethin’ called MDF. Sounds like a disease, but I guess it’s just some kind of wood. Half-inch or three-quarter inch, somethin’ like that. I don’t know much about wood, ‘cept you can make a fire with it. But I guess it’s good for these speakers, makes ’em sound good. Each one is a little bit different from the other, I heard.

  • Some folks say you need a good “amp” with these totem arro speakers.
  • Amp, that’s short for amplifier, I think.
  • It’s like a booster for the sound, makes it louder and clearer.
  • I don’t have one of them fancy amps, but maybe I should get one.

Now, they say these totem arro things can play all kinds of music. Rock and roll, that’s what I like. Elvis, he was a good one. And they say these speakers can handle it. That’s good to know. I wouldn’t want to get somethin’ that can’t play my Elvis records. I heard the Arro work with rock, so it is good for me.

They say this totem arro is good at showin’ the difference between different amps and “sources.” Sources, that’s where the music comes from, I reckon. Like a record player or one of them CD players. I still got my old record player. It’s a bit dusty, but it still works. Maybe I’ll try it with these totem arro speakers, see how it sounds.

The fella who started this whole Totem thing, his name was Vince. Vince Bruzzese. Sounds Italian, don’t it? He was a math teacher, of all things. But he loved music. So he started makin’ these speakers. And people liked ’em. A lot. Now everyone wants ’em. Even me!

  • Totem, that’s the name of the company, by the way.
  • They make all kinds of speakers, not just the totem arro.
  • But the totem arro is the one I’m interested in.

I saw some folks talkin’ ’bout the volume. They were sayin’ things like “10 o’clock” or “12 o’clock.” I guess that’s how you tell how loud it is. Like a clock, but for sound. I don’t know about all that, but I do know I like my music loud enough to hear it, but not so loud it hurts my ears.

Some people got real fancy and talk about “4ohm” and “sensitivity” and “87dB.” It just confused me. I think those are all just ways to measure the sound, but I don’t understand it. And I don’t need to, to enjoy my music.

I seen some reviews online, too. People sayin’ good things about the totem arro. Sayin’ it’s “wonderful” and “amazing.” Well, that’s good enough for me. If other folks like it, maybe I will, too. I just need to find a place that sells ’em. I asked people if they choose between totem arro and BW 604 s2. It seems that totem is better. Or choose between totem arro and Sttaf, the answer is still Arro. So I think I should get one.

So, that’s what I learned about this totem arro thing. It’s a fancy speaker, made in Canada, that plays all kinds of music, and it ain’t too heavy. And it’s s’posed to sound real good. Maybe I’ll get me one. Then I can listen to my Elvis records in style. It can show the differences between amp and sources. I’ll have to get one of them fancy amps, too, I reckon. It’ll be worth it, though, to hear my music soundin’ its best. And I think I will be happy to hear the music.
