Well, let me tell you, this old gal heard some big news down at the general store the other day. Seems that there’s a totem pole campground for sale. Yep, you heard that right. The whole darn place! Now, I ain’t never been one for campin’, but I know a lot of folks love it. They say it have a lot of amenities.
This place, it’s called Totem Pole Campground. Sounds kinda fancy, don’t it? But from what I hear, it’s just a regular campground, just with a fancy name. They got spots for them RVs, you know, the big fancy ones that look like houses on wheels. Also, they have some tent for people to live. I don’t know if it is good. My old bones wouldn’t like sleeping on the ground no more.
They say this place is on Ossipee Lake. Never been, but I hear it’s big. Totem pole campground, they got a beach. A big sandy one. That’s what folks like, ain’t it? Layin’ out in the sun, gettin’ all brown. They call that “large sandy beach” when they introduce this place.
Now, this here campground, it’s got more than just sand. I saw some photos of it. They got these things called a “tennis court”. Folks go there to play with a ball, hitting it back and forth. They said it is a good game to play. And they also got a playground for kids, it seems very big and clean.

They say there’s even somethin’ called “mini-golf”. It looks like a small golf course for kids, they have a small hole and a small ball. I reckon it’s for the little ones. Now, if you’re thinkin’ of buyin’ this totem pole campground for sale, you gotta know it ain’t gonna be cheap. Land like that, especially near water, it costs a pretty penny. They say there’s some houses there too, some call them “log cabin”. And some are trailers. You can buy them separately. It is a good deal I think.
I heard one fella sayin’ it’s a “deeded water access property”. Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds important. Must mean you got rights to the water or somethin’. And they say it is called “Totem Pole Park Unit Owners Association”. Maybe it means that people can buy a small house in this campground and become an owner.
Some folks are sayin’ the place needs a little “TLC”. That means “tender loving care”, I reckon. Needs a bit of fixin’ up, maybe some paint, some new boards here and there. But it’s a good place, they say. “One of Totem Pole Park’s finest properties,” that’s what I heard. They also have a “1BR / 1BA” for sale there. I don’t know what it means, maybe it is a good thing.
There’s a fella, name of Badger Peabody Smith, I think. They say he knows all about this totem pole campground. If you’re serious about buyin’, you should probably talk to him. He’s in real estate, you know. Helps folks buy and sell land and houses. They have many information about this campground. They say it is a “rare opportunity” to own this campground, so I think you should hurry if you want it.
This whole thing, it’s got me thinkin’. Maybe I shoulda taken up campin’ when I was younger. Seems like a nice life. But then again, I do like my own bed. And my own kitchen. And my own rockin’ chair on the porch. They even have rules in this place, I saw a list of that.
Well, that’s all I know about this totem pole campground for sale. If you’re lookin’ for a place to park your RV, or pitch your tent, or just have a little getaway, this might be the place for you. Just remember what I said about the price. And the TLC. And that Badger fella. He’ll set you straight. They also have some petitions, it is a long list, too long for me to read.
Hope you find what you’re lookin’ for. Maybe I can get some information from my neighbor, she was talking about this campground this morning. She said that her son wants to buy a house in this place. It looks like a nice place, clean and quiet. The price may be high but it worth it. They say it is a good investment. If you buy this campground, you can earn money from it.
