Toteme New York Fashion: Check Out the Newest Arrivals and Trends for This Season

Today I’m going to talk about my experience with Toteme’s Spring/Summer 2025 show at New York Fashion Week. I’ve been following Toteme for a while now – ever since I heard that it was founded by Elin Kling and Karl Lindman back in 2014. They’re based in Stockholm, and I just love how they manage to make everyday wear look so chic.

So, I saw this show was happening and I thought, “Why not?” I managed to get myself there, and let me tell you, it was something else. The show was held in this empty office space, but the view was killer—you could see all the way from the East River. It really set the mood, you know?

When the show started, the first thing that hit me was the silhouettes. They were so flowy and just looked comfortable, but still stylish. That’s what I really look for in clothes – something I can wear all day and not feel restricted. And the fabrics, don’t even get me started. They looked so luxurious, the kind you just want to touch and feel against your skin. They used a lot of black, which, let’s be real, is a New Yorker’s go-to. But they also mixed in whites and off-whites, which gave it a nice balance.

  • The whole vibe was simple, but not in a boring way. It was more like… complex simplicity.
  • Each piece looked like you could wear it a hundred different ways, which is a huge plus for me.
  • I especially loved their ready-to-wear stuff.

The Toteme Experience

Getting to see all of this in person, it really made me appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into their stuff. It wasn’t just about seeing the clothes; it was about feeling the whole Toteme vibe. They really know how to make a statement without being over the top. The show had this sense of minimal, but it really did pack a punch.

I walked out of there feeling inspired. It’s always exciting to see a brand you admire do something new and do it well. I’m already thinking about how I can incorporate some of these looks into my own wardrobe. It was a good day, a really good day at New York Fashion Week.

I took notes, snapped some photos for my scrapbook, and just soaked it all in. It was a great experience, and I’m glad I went. I even jotted down some of the fabric details and how they moved – you know, for future reference. It was a practical move, but it also felt like I was documenting a piece of fashion history. At least, that’s how I see it.

After the show, I spent some time just walking around the city, reflecting on what I’d seen. I grabbed a coffee, sat in a park, and just people-watched for a bit. It’s funny how a fashion show can make you look at everyday style a little differently. You start noticing the little things, like how someone’s scarf is draped or the way a coat fits. It’s like the show gave me a new lens to see the world through, even if it was just for a day.
