Okay, here’s my blog post about finding those Hunter runes in WoW Season of Discovery.
Alright, folks, so I’ve been grinding away in WoW Season of Discovery, and let me tell you, getting those Hunter runes has been quite the adventure! It was just a few days after Christmas when I heard Blizzard put in some new stuff, like a special thing for the holidays.
First off, I started by heading to the major city for my faction. I figured that’s where all the action usually happens, right? I ran around, talking to every NPC I could find with a quest marker above their head. Lots of dead ends there, just the usual holiday quests. Then I clicked on my own pet, tried to figure out how to feed it. I bought meat from a vendor but somehow my pet got angry! What a mess!
After that, I decided to check online, just to see if anyone else was having better luck. I scrolled through a bunch of forums and Reddit threads, and finally, I found a few hints. It seemed like the runes were tied to specific types of creatures out in the world, not in the cities. I got the first one in a cave. It was tough because those little spiders almost killed me!
- For example, some folks were saying that Beast Mastery runes could be found by tracking down rare beasts.
- Others were talking about Marksmanship runes being linked to elite archers or sharpshooters.
So, I grabbed my best gear, stocked up on potions, and headed out into the wilderness. I spent hours hunting down different creatures, trying to figure out the patterns. I fought my way through packs of wolves, dodged the charges of angry boars, and even took down a few elite mobs that were way tougher than I expected. I used all my hunter skills like traps and special shots to beat those tough guys.
Finally, after a lot of trial and error, I managed to snag my first rune! It was a Beast Mastery rune that dropped from a rare bear I found roaming around the mountains. The feeling of finally getting it was awesome!
The Best Part!
Then, I kept at it, following the clues I had gathered and exploring different zones. I found a Marksmanship rune after defeating a group of elite archers in a hidden camp. And another one by tracking a wolf, it was hard because the wolf was so fast! It took me like forever to get it! Each rune I found felt like a major victory. It was a grind, for sure, but totally worth it in the end.
