All Paladin Runes SOD: What They Do and Where to Find Them Fast!

Alright, let’s talk about those Paladin runes in Season of Discovery. I spent some serious time messing around with these things, and here’s the lowdown on what I found.

First off, getting your hands on these runes was a breeze. I remember when we had to trek all over Azeroth just to find ’em, but not anymore. Now you can just stroll into your main city, find the Rune Broker, and buy them. I was able to just saunter into Stormwind and pick them up for 1 gold each, which was way easier than I expected.

Once I had the runes, slapping them onto my gear was simple. The abilities popped right into my spellbook as soon as I did. It was kind of cool seeing them fill up my hotbar automatically. I did notice that if I took off the gear with the rune, the ability disappeared from my spellbook. Makes sense, I guess.

Now, for the fun part, actually unlocking these runes. I started in Dun Morogh, because I was playing as a Human Paladin. I found these Adventurer’s Remains just east of Jerod’s Landing. It wasn’t too hard to spot. When I clicked on them, a portal appeared. To get the spirit to show up, you need another Paladin or a Priest to click on the portal too. I teamed up with a random Priest I found nearby, and bam, the Adventurer’s Spirit popped up. Easy peasy.

  • Head to your main city and buy runes from the Rune Broker.
  • Slot the runes into your gear to see the abilities in your spellbook.
  • Go to Dun Morogh or Elwynn Forest to find Adventurer’s Remains.
  • Summon a portal and have another Paladin or Priest click it to summon the Adventurer’s Spirit.

Other Characters

I also heard that if you’ve already done some of these rune quests on another character, you can buy these tokens instead of doing the whole quest again. I haven’t tried this yet, but it sounds like a massive time-saver. I’ll definitely be checking that out on my alt.

So, that’s my experience with the Paladin runes in Season of Discovery. It’s been pretty straightforward, and the changes they made to how you get them are a huge improvement. No more wild goose chases across the world. Just a quick trip to the city, a bit of teamwork, and you’re good to go. Happy rune hunting!
