First tarot reader tumblr: How to connect with the tarot community and find your own tarot reading style.
Okay, so, I’ve always been kinda curious about this whole tarot thing, you know? I saw people doing it online and thought, “Why not give it a shot myself?” So, I decided to start my own tarot reading journey and share it on Tumblr. It seemed like a good place to, like, connect with people and document what I was doing.
First things first, I had to get myself a deck. I spent a couple of days just browsing online, looking at different designs. There are so many to choose from! I finally settled on one that really caught my eye, something with, you know, a classic vibe but not too spooky. It arrived, and I was super stoked. I cleared a space on my desk, got some candles going – gotta set the mood, right?
Getting to know the cards
I spent a few days just handling the cards, looking at the pictures. I didn’t jump straight into readings. I kinda wanted to get a feel for them first, you know? I found some basic guides online about what each card generally means, but I also just stared at them and jotted down whatever thoughts popped into my head. It was kinda like looking at art or something. I wrote down what I felt about the picture, what the colors make me think. It’s interesting, sometimes it’s different from the “official” meaning.
Diving into readings
After I felt a little more comfortable, I started doing some simple readings for myself. Just basic three-card spreads – past, present, future. I’d shuffle the deck, focus on a question, and lay them out. It was a little nerve-wracking at first, not gonna lie. It felt kinda powerful. I used my notes and my intuition to figure out what they might mean. Sometimes it made sense right away, other times I had to sit with it for a while.
Tumblr Time
Then came the Tumblr part. I created a new blog, just for this tarot stuff. It was actually pretty fun picking out a theme and a name. I started posting about my daily readings. It was just a picture of the cards and then my interpretation. I kept it pretty simple, just sharing my thoughts and feelings about what I pulled. I used some basic tags like, you know, #tarot, #dailydraw, #tarotcommunity. I don’t know many tags. If I know, I will use more. Maybe some people will see it.
Connecting with Others
Slowly but surely, people started finding my blog. It was amazing! I got some reblogs, some likes, and even some messages from other people who were into tarot. We’d chat about different spreads, interpretations, and even recommend decks to each other. It felt like a real community, you know? I’m not alone! It’s really fun.
Learning and Growing
It’s been a few months now, and I’m still learning so much. It takes time and practice to get better. But I learned that it’s best to be patient with yourself. I’m still doing daily readings and posting them on Tumblr. I’m also starting to do readings for other people, which is a whole new level of, like, responsibility. But it’s also really rewarding. Tarot is not allowed by the Bible, but I still want to try, and keep learning. I’m really enjoying the process and seeing how much I’ve grown. I think I’ll keep at it. It’s been a really cool experience so far, and I’m excited to see where it goes. I’m glad I took that first step. It’s worth trying.
- Keep shuffling and practicing!
- Find my own way to connect the meaning!
