After I pulled the cards, I just sat there for a while, staring at them. I tried to connect the dots, see if the cards were telling me a story. I thought about my past relationships, where I was at now, and what I really wanted in the future. I took my time, flipping through the little instruction book to look up the meanings of each card. It was a bit like learning a new language. I even jotted down some notes in my journal, trying to decipher the messages.
