So, I was goofing around in ARAM the other day, trying to get my Draven on. Let me tell you, it was a wild ride.
First off, I jumped into the game, all excited to play my main man Draven. You know, the Glorious Executioner, spinning axes and all that jazz. I was feeling pretty confident, ready to dominate the Howling Abyss. I picked him without a second thought.
Choosing Runes
Now, for the runes, I went with the usual Domination path, rocking that Dark Harvest keystone. I figured, hey, more damage, more fun, right? Plus, I grabbed Sudden Impact, Eyeball Collection, you know, the whole nine yards. And Hail of Blades, I thought that this rune was pretty good.
Item Build
Then came the items. I started with The Collector because, well, it’s Draven, and he loves to collect those bounties. I felt that I could make some money with this item. After that, I rushed Berserker’s Greaves for that sweet attack speed. I thought that I needed more attack speed to catch my axes. Then, it was all about that Infinity Edge and Bloodthirster combo. Gotta stay alive and hit hard, am I right? I needed to be powerful. And of course, I couldn’t forget Lord Dominik’s Regards for those pesky tanks. Oh, I built them all.
Gameplay
The game started, and I was feeling good. I was catching axes like a pro, poking the enemy team, and generally having a blast. But then, things got a bit hairy. Their team had a lot of strong guys like Braum and Brand, and let me tell you, dodging their skills while catching axes was a real challenge. I needed to survive in this game. And there was this Yorick, who was a real pain in the neck. I got hit a lot.
- Stay Mobile: I tried my best to stay on the move, always repositioning to catch those axes. But man, it was tough with all the chaos going on.
- Use the Terrain: I attempted to use the walls and stuff to my advantage, but those enemy players were good. They were smart. They were predicting my every move.
- Spin the Axes: I kept those axes spinning as much as possible, but sometimes I just couldn’t keep up with the pace of the game. I failed to keep my axes spinning several times.
The Result
In the end, we lost the game. Yeah, it was a bummer. My Draven’s win rate in ARAM isn’t the best, sitting at around 46.5%, and I can see why. It’s tough out there! I felt a little bit sad. But hey, it’s all part of the learning process, right? I realized that it was a really tough match.
So, that’s my Draven ARAM adventure. It was a mix of highs and lows, but I still had fun. I mean, who doesn’t love a good challenge? I’ll definitely be back for more, trying to improve that win rate and maybe, just maybe, dominate the Howling Abyss one day. I will keep trying!
