Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this “angel number” thing for a while now, and I figured I’d share how I’ve been calculating mine. It’s kind of a fun little exercise, and who knows, maybe there’s something to it, maybe not. Either way, I thought I’d walk you through it.
What I Did
First off, I wanted to figure out my “personal year number” for this year, 2024. Apparently, it’s supposed to represent some kind of numerology energy, which I guess changes every year. So, here’s what I did:
- Grabbed my birth date and month: I jotted down my birthday – let’s say, for example, it’s March 12th (it’s not, but just for this example).
- Looked up the “universal year number” for 2024: I found out that for 2024, the number is 8. Don’t ask me how they get that, I just found it online.
- Did some adding: I added up the numbers in my birth month (March is 3, so that’s 3), birth date (12, so 1+2=3), and the universal year number (8). So, in this example, it was 3 + 3 + 8 = 14.
- Kept adding (if needed): If you get a two-digit number like I did (14), you add those digits together. So, 1 + 4 = 5. Boom, that’s the personal year number for this example birthday.
I did this for my actual birthday, and it was kind of neat to see what number I got. I also did it for some friends and family, just for kicks.
Then I Tried Something Else
So, after figuring out the personal year number, I wanted to see if I could calculate a general “angel number,” not tied to a specific year. Here’s how I went about that:
- Used my full birth date: This time, I took my entire birthday – let’s use March 12th, 1990, as an example again.
- Added everything up: I added each digit together: 0 + 3 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 25.
- Boiled it down: Since 25 is a two-digit number, I added those digits: 2 + 5 = 7. So, 7 would be the “angel number” in this example.
I did this with my real birth date, too. It’s a different number than my personal year number, which I guess makes sense. One is tied to the year, and the other is just based on your birth date.
Why I Bothered
Honestly, I was just curious. I’d heard about these angel numbers and thought it would be a fun little experiment. I’m not sure if I believe in all this numerology stuff, but it’s interesting to see how the numbers add up and what meanings are attached to them. Some people say these numbers can offer guidance or insight, especially when you’re feeling lost or going through changes. I don’t know about all that, but it was a fun way to kill some time and maybe, just maybe, learn something new about myself.
