Top Heimerdinger Aram Runes This Season: Simple and Effective Strategies Now!
Okay, so I was messing around in League of Legends the other day, specifically in ARAM mode, and I decided to give Heimerdinger a try. I’ve seen him played quite a bit, but I’ve never really given him a go myself. The main thing I wanted to figure out was the runes situation – that’s always a bit of a headache, right?
So I hopped online, did some digging, and found a bunch of guides and stuff about Heimerdinger in ARAM. Turns out, a lot of folks play him! Apparently, he’s sitting at around a 51.86% win rate, which is pretty decent, but he is only B-Tier, so that is not really good. Anyway, I saw that many people recommended some similar builds and runes.
The first thing I did was try out was the Domination tree. I’m not gonna lie, I usually lean towards Sorcery for mages, but hey, gotta experiment. In Domination, the Dark Harvest keystone seemed to be the way to go. I gotta say, it felt pretty good. You stack up those souls, and your turrets start hitting like a truck. Especially late game, it’s kind of hilarious how much damage you can dish out.
- Dark Harvest: This keystone is all about that scaling damage. It made my late-game damage feel pretty chunky.
- Other runes I picked from Domination:
- Cheap Shot: Extra damage on impaired targets.
- Eyeball Collection: More adaptive force as you get takedowns.
- Ultimate Hunter: Reduces your ultimate’s cooldown.
After trying Domination, I thought, “Why not try something wild?” Some people use Hail of Blades, Sudden Impact, Eyeball Collection. It was definitely fun to try out these setups.
Anyway, after messing around with different runes and item builds (Liandry’s Torment is a must, by the way), I found that the Domination/Dark Harvest path with the runes I mentioned was the most consistent for me. My turrets were melting people, and I was having a blast.
So, yeah, that’s my little Heimerdinger ARAM adventure. It just goes to show that sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone and trying new things can lead to some fun and surprisingly effective results. If you’re an ARAM enthusiast and haven’t given Heimerdinger a shot, I highly recommend it. Just remember that rune page I talked about – it might just make you the terror of the Howling Abyss!

Okay, so I’ve played a bunch more ARAM games with Heimerdinger after writing this, and I’ve got a few more thoughts. First off, Dark Harvest is still good, but I’ve also been experimenting with Arcane Comet in the Sorcery tree. It’s a bit more poke-heavy, and it’s pretty good for whittling down enemies before an all-in. Also, don’t sleep on Zhonya’s Hourglass! That active has saved my bacon more times than I can count.
I’ve also noticed that Heimerdinger can really struggle against certain team comps, especially if they have a lot of dive or long-range poke. In those cases, it’s super important to position yourself carefully and rely on your teammates for peel.
All in all, Heimerdinger is a super fun and rewarding champion in ARAM. He’s got a unique playstyle, and there’s a lot of room for experimentation with different builds and strategies. It is a fun time to try different builds, so don’t be afraid to try them out!
