Today, I got this idea to mess around with Karma in ARAM. I’ve seen a lot of chatter online about her win rate and stuff, so I figured, why not give it a shot?
I jumped into a game and started checking out some builds. Seems like most people are going with Malignance and Sorcerer’s Shoes, and maybe Luden’s Companion. That sounded about right, so I went with it. Oh, and I had to figure out the runes too. I noticed people talking about different rune combinations, so I just picked the ones that seemed popular and went with Conqueror, Triumph, Legend: Bloodline, and Last Stand as the primary tree, and Sudden Impact with Treasure Hunter as the secondary. I thought those looked pretty good for what I wanted to do.
First few minutes in, I was mostly just poking around, trying to get a feel for how Karma plays in this mode. She’s got some pretty decent range on her Q, so I was using that to harass the enemy team whenever I could. I also made sure to shield my teammates with E whenever they were in trouble.
- Early Game: Just trying to stay alive and poke.
- Mid Game: Started to get my core items, so I was feeling a bit more confident.
- Late Game: This is where Karma really shines. With my items and the right runes, I was dealing some serious damage.
I messed around with the skill order too. Most guides suggested maxing Q first, then E, and finally W. That made sense to me, so I followed that. It seemed to work pretty well because I was able to deal good damage while also keeping my team alive.
One thing I noticed was that positioning is super important with Karma. You don’t want to get caught out in the open, but you also need to be close enough to land your skills. I tried to stay behind my tanks and use them as a meat shield while I was dishing out the damage.
By the end of the game, I felt like I had a pretty good grasp of how to play Karma in ARAM. We ended up winning, which was awesome! I even got an S rating, which made me feel like I’d really done something right.
So, if you’re looking for a fun and effective champion to play in ARAM, I’d definitely recommend giving Karma a try. Just make sure to build her right, pick the best runes, and play it safe, and you’ll be good to go!
