Alright, folks, let’s talk about hitting some dingers. You know, those glorious moments when the ball just flies out of the park. So, I was looking at this the other day, thinking, “How can I get in on this action?” I mean, who doesn’t love a good home run, right? I started digging around to see if I could figure out a way to predict this stuff. I was checking out DraftKings, seeing what kind of bets they had going on. That place is like a candy store for sports bets.
I noticed they had these “home run prop bets” – basically, you’re betting on whether a specific player will hit a home run in a game. Sounded fun, so I decided to give it a try. Then I looked more broadly at the whole MLB schedule for today which is a bit shorter. After yesterday’s loss, I decided to read up a bit more. There was this article by a guy named Jason Radowitz talking about the best home run bets for today. I figured maybe this guy knows something I don’t, so I checked out his picks.
My Second Attempt

- Looked into Willy Adames’s odds

- Decided to follow some of his advice(kind of)
- Placed a small bet on Adames, just to see what happens
I decided to put a little money on Adames, just a small bet, nothing crazy. It was mainly to get some skin in the game, you know, make things a bit more interesting. Still waiting to see how that turns out, but I’m feeling a bit more optimistic this time. It is not just a random guess. I have actually done some reading this time.
This whole home run betting thing is definitely a learning experience. It’s not easy, but it’s fun trying to figure it out. I’ll keep you guys updated on how it goes. Maybe I’ll even hit a “home run” with my bets someday! We’ll see. Wish me luck!
