Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this Thorn Totem build in Last Epoch, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. I started this journey totally blind, not knowing what to expect, you know? I just wanted to try something new, something off the beaten path. So I dove headfirst into this Shaman thing and went straight for the totems.
First off, I picked the Shaman mastery because, well, it sounded cool, and it seemed to fit the whole totem vibe I was going for. Then I transformed into this Spriggan Form. At first, I was a bit lost, not gonna lie. I was running around, trying to figure out how to make this work. I spent a good chunk of time just experimenting, throwing points into different skills to see what stuck.
- Summon Thorn Totem: This is the bread and butter of the build. I started pumping points into this skill, trying to get as many totems out as possible.
- Spriggan Form: This is where the magic happens. I focused on getting this form up and running as soon as possible, cause that’s where the good stuff is.
- Experimenting: I tried a bunch of different combinations. Some were total flops, others showed promise. It was a lot of trial and error.
The main idea is to keep casting these Summon Healing Totem, even when there aren’t any enemies around. Sounds weird, right? But trust me, it works. Every time you cast it, it unsummons your old one, and that’s part of the strategy. I had to get used to this rhythm of constantly summoning and unsummoning. At first, it felt a bit clunky, but once I got the hang of it, it started to flow.
I spent hours just grinding, trying to level up and get better gear. The early game was a bit rough, ngl. I was getting my butt kicked by some of the bosses. But I kept at it, tweaking the build here and there. I watched some videos, read some guides, and slowly but surely, things started to click.
The turning point was when I finally got the hang of the Spriggan Form and how to maximize the Thorn Totem output. I realized that the key was to stack as much strength as possible and focus on skills that buffed the totems’ damage. I started seeing some crazy numbers, and those bosses that were giving me trouble before? They were melting. It was awesome!
Now, I’m still learning, still experimenting. But let me tell you, this build is a blast. It’s satisfying to see those totems just wreck everything in their path. And the best part? I figured a lot of this out on my own, through trial and error. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m excited to see how far I can push this build.
So, if you’re looking for something different, something fun and powerful, give the Thorn Totem Shaman a try. It might take some time to get used to, but trust me, it’s worth it.
