Alright, so I was messing around with this “Mage Rune” thing in the game, right? And let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I started off not knowing anything, just a total noob, and I was like, “What’s this Tome of Expanded Intellect?” I heard it drops from bosses in dungeons, but which ones? High-level? That’s pretty vague, man.
So, I started hitting up these dungeons. I must’ve run through a dozen of them, fighting all sorts of nasty bosses. I got some cool loot, sure, but no rune. I was starting to get a little frustrated, not gonna lie.
Finding The Spell Notes
Then, I stumbled upon some info about these Spell Notes for something called “Hot Streak.” Apparently, these were related to the mage runes. Now we’re getting somewhere! I dove into finding these notes, following some messy clues I found. Each note led to another, like a treasure hunt. It was kinda fun, but also, like, where’s the actual rune, you know?
I also came across some stuff about a “Lord’s Rune.” People were saying it’s in some place called Leyndell Royal Capital, dropped by an Erdtree Avatar. And another one was in Crumbling Farum Azula, on top of a fountain. Sounded epic, but I wasn’t even close to those areas yet. So, that was a dead end for now, but I made a mental note to check it out later.
Reading All Those Books
The real breakthrough came when I heard about this “Spell Power Rune.” To get it, you had to read a bunch of books scattered around the world. 20 books, to be exact. 20! Out of 24. Man, that’s a lot of reading. I already read some books trying to get the “Icy Veins” rune, so I figured I was a bit of the way there. It was like, “Okay, time to become a bookworm.”
I started hunting down these books. It was a grind, I won’t sugarcoat it. Some were easy to find, others were hidden in the most annoying places. But, I kept at it, reading every book I could get my hands on. Each book read felt like a small victory, getting me closer to that rune.
Finally Got It
And you know what? After all that dungeon crawling, note chasing, and book reading, I finally got the Spell Power Rune! It felt awesome, man. Like all that hard work actually paid off. I slapped that rune on my gear, and bam, my mage was suddenly way more powerful. It was a good feeling. So yeah, that’s my story of how I got the Mage Rune. It was a long and winding road, but totally worth it in the end.
And, here are some tips I’ve collected for you!
- Be prepared to grind: Getting this rune isn’t a walk in the park. You’ll need to put in the time and effort.
- Explore everywhere: Those books and notes can be hidden anywhere, so check every nook and cranny.
- Don’t give up: It might get frustrating at times, but keep pushing. The reward is worth it.
