Hey guys, today I wanna talk about my little adventure with nature runes in OSRS. I’ve been messing around with different ways to make some gold, and nature runes seemed like a decent option. So, I did a bit of digging around to see what the deal was with these things.
First, I checked out the prices. They’ve been kinda steady, hovering around 100 coins each. Not a huge change recently, so that’s good. I saw that they’re used in alchemy spells, which makes sense.
Then, I started to look into how to actually get these runes. I read about a couple of places, like this island in the Wilderness surrounded by lava. Sounds dangerous, right? Apparently, you can use telegrab to snag some nature runes there, like 3 or 4 at a time. There’s another spot near Rellekka, too. But honestly, Wilderness and me? Not the best combo. I’m not really a PKer, you know?
So, I decided to go the crafting route. I headed over to the Nature altar in Karamja. I equipped my full set of Raiments of the Eye, because I heard that it gives you a 60% bonus on runes. Pretty sweet deal, if you ask me. I loaded up my inventory and pouches with essence, entered the nature rift, and crafted those runes.
After that, I used my amulet of glory to teleport back to Edgeville, banked my runes, and repeated the whole process. It’s a bit of a grind, but hey, it’s honest work. I managed to craft a decent amount of runes this way. And with that 60% bonus from the Raiments, I was actually getting a good amount per trip.
I did some quick calculations, and it looked like I could get around 27,000 experience per hour doing this. Not too shabby. I haven’t sold any yet, but I’m thinking they’ll move quickly since they’re used in a bunch of spells.
Overall, it’s been a pretty chill way to make some gold and level up my Runecrafting. If you’re looking for a somewhat relaxed way to grind, this might be worth a shot. Just be prepared for a bit of a time commitment, and make sure you have that Raiments set. Trust me, it makes a big difference.
So, that’s my experience with nature runes so far. I might try out those Wilderness spots later, but for now, I’m happy with my crafting routine. Hope this gives you guys some ideas. Happy ‘scaping!
