Free tarot printables: The ultimate guide to finding the best ones.

Okay, so I’ve been getting into tarot lately, and I gotta say, it’s pretty cool. But buying a bunch of different decks can get expensive, you know? So I thought, “Why not try to find some free tarot printables online?” That’s where this whole adventure started.

The Search

First things first, I fired up my computer and started Googling. I typed in “free tarot printables” and hit enter. Scrolled through a bunch of websites. Some were okay, others were pretty useless. I mean, who wants to print out blurry, low-quality images? Not me!

The Selection Process

After a while, I found a few sites that had some decent-looking printables. I picked a few designs that I liked, downloaded them. Checked the image quality, made sure they were clear and all that. I didn’t want any pixelated messes. I decided to go with a classic Rider-Waite design, just to start simple.

Printing

Next, I printed them out. I only have a basic inkjet printer, so I made sure to use some good quality paper. Cardstock would have been ideal, but I didn’t have any on hand. Regular paper worked fine, though. I made some test prints and adjusted the settings to make sure the colors were as good as they could be.

Cutting and Prepping

Then came the cutting. This was probably the most tedious part. I used a paper cutter for the straight edges and scissors for the rounded corners. It took a while, but I managed to get them all cut out neatly. I also laminated them with some clear tape, to give them some extra protection and make them feel a bit sturdier.

The Final Result

And there you have it! My very own, homemade tarot deck. It’s not perfect, but it’s mine. And it was free! I’ve been using them for a few days now, and they work great. It was a good experience. I learned a few things about tarot and had some fun making them. Maybe I’ll try making another deck soon, with a different design this time.

Trust me. I know. First thing.
