Alright, guys, I spent the whole day messing around with this “Season of Discovery” thing in WoW Classic, specifically hunting down those hunter runes. Let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey, but I finally got the hang of it.
So, first things first, I had to figure out where to even start looking for these runes. Turns out, there’s this Rune Broker dude hanging out in each major city and starting zone. I spent a good chunk of time just running around, exploring, and finally found them.
Alliance Zones
For Alliance, I started in the Dwarf area. Remembered something about a quest from a dude named Thorgas Grimson, something about “Trek Through the Caves”. Easy peasy, I thought. Well, it kinda was. I just had to head to this Frostmane cave in Coldridge Valley, fight a few of those annoying ice trolls, and eventually found this Frostmane Loot Cache. Opened that bad boy up, and boom, there was the Chimera Shot rune. Feels good, man.
- Started in the Dwarf starting zone.
- Picked up the “Trek Through the Caves” quest from Thorgas Grimson.
- Headed to the Frostmane cave in Coldridge Valley.
- Fought some Frostmane trolls (they’re kinda annoying).
- Found the Frostmane Loot Cache and opened it.
- Got the Chimera Shot rune.
I also heard about some other runes, but honestly, I was pretty stoked about the Chimera Shot, so I didn’t really dig too deep into the others. Maybe I’ll go back later, but for now, I’m happy with what I got.
It was a pretty fun day of exploring and figuring things out. This Season of Discovery stuff is turning out to be quite interesting. Hope this helps someone out there. Time to go test out this new rune!
