Alright, let’s talk about my little adventure diving into the Season of Discovery, or SoD, Phase 2, specifically hunting down those rogue runes. Man, what a ride!
So, first things first, I got myself pumped up and started brainstorming which runes I wanted to snag first. I mean, there’s a bunch, but you gotta prioritize, right? I’ve heard a lot of buzz about “Dance with the Wicked” rune, especially for us tanky rogues or those who love to mess around in PvP. They say it’s supposed to make us pretty darn hard to kill by boosting our dodge chance whenever we land a crit. Sounds pretty sweet, doesn’t it?
Anyway, I jumped into the game, all excited to get my hands dirty. The first thing I did was check out which gear slots these new runes could be engraved on. Gotta know where to put ’em before you can use ’em, you know? I made a mental note of all the slots that could be engraved.
Next up, I started hunting. Man, it felt like a real treasure hunt! I had to talk to people around in the bar, sneak around, do all sorts of stuff to find clues on where these runes were hidden. That “Master of Subtlety” rune? Sounds basic, but trust me, it’s a lifesaver. It gives you a nice little boost after coming out of stealth, which, for a rogue, is like, all the time. Super useful, and it goes on your boots.
I went through my spell book and tried a couple of combinations. Made a wrong turn somewhere, ended up in a wrong place for a while, but I corrected my direction back to the right track. I finally found the rune at a very hidden place. It took me a while to figure out how to pickpocket the right target.
- Dance with the Wicked: Found this bad boy after a few hours of exploring. Tricky to find, but so worth it. Now I’m dodging hits left and right, feeling like a real ninja.
- Master of Subtlety: This one was easier to locate, thank goodness. Now my boots are enchanted, and I’m feeling stealthier than ever.
After snagging these two, I spent some time testing them out. I dueled a few guildies, ran some dungeons, and even braved some PvP. The “Dance with the Wicked” rune is a game-changer, seriously. I’m surviving way longer in fights, and it’s so satisfying to see those attacks just miss me.
The “Master of Subtlety” rune is more, well, subtle, but it’s definitely pulling its weight. I’m noticing that extra damage after coming out of stealth, and it’s helping me take down enemies quicker. I just picked up another rune that I want to try out, but for now, let’s enjoy the power we already have. I’m already planning my next rune hunt. It’s addicting, man!
So, yeah, that’s my story so far. It’s been a blast, and I’m totally hooked on this rune-hunting business. If you’re a fellow rogue out there, I highly recommend diving into SoD Phase 2 and grabbing these runes for yourself. Trust me, you won’t regret it!
