Best Sylas ARAM Runes: Dominate the Howling Abyss with these Easy Builds!

Okay, so I wanted to mess around with Sylas in ARAM mode today. I’ve seen some people do pretty well with him, so I figured I’d give it a shot myself. First thing’s first, I gotta pick the right runes.

After looking at a few guides and seeing what other players are using, I decided to go with Conqueror as my keystone. It just seems like the best choice for Sylas, you know? Helps him stay strong in those longer fights, which happen a lot in ARAM.

Best Sylas ARAM Runes: Dominate the Howling Abyss with these Easy Builds!
  • For the rest of my primary tree, I picked Presence of Mind. More mana means more spell-slinging, and that’s what Sylas is all about.
  • Then I went with Legend: Haste. Cooldown reduction is king in ARAM, letting you use your abilities more often. Gotta get those spell rotations in.
  • Lastly, I took Last Stand. It gives you that extra bit of damage when you’re low on health. I figured it could help me clutch out some fights.

Now, for the secondary tree, I chose the Resolve tree. I needed a bit more survivability in those chaotic ARAM brawls.

  • Second Wind seemed like a good choice. Helps you regen health after taking a beating. In the constant poke wars of ARAM, that can be super useful.
  • And lastly, I grabbed Unflinching. You get crowd controlled a lot in ARAM, so the bonus tenacity and slow resist seemed really good.

With the runes sorted, I jumped into a game. It took a few minutes to get a feel for the champion, but I eventually got the hang of it. I started landing my combos, stealing some good ultimates, and generally wreaking havoc. It felt good, man.

I ended up winning that game. I wouldn’t say I carried, but I definitely pulled my weight. I think these runes really helped me out. They gave me the sustain and damage I needed to make an impact. Definitely going to try this setup again in the future.

All in all, it was a pretty successful experiment. I learned a bit more about Sylas and found a rune page that works well for me in ARAM. Maybe you can try it out, and it will be useful for you as well.
