Okay, so, I was messing around with this crossword puzzle in the LA Times the other day. I’m not usually big on crosswords, but I saw this clue, “120 mm Louboutin feature,” and it got me thinking. I mean, I’ve seen those shoes around, you know, the ones with the red soles? But 120 mm? What’s that about?
I started digging around a bit, just poking around on the internet, you know how it is. I typed the clue into a search engine, and bam! A bunch of websites popped up, all about crossword answers and stuff. Turns out, I wasn’t the only one stumped by this thing.
My Process
- Found a bunch of crossword help sites.
- Saw that lots of people were looking for the same answer.
- Realized I wasn’t alone in my confusion!
So, I clicked on a few of these links. Some of them were pretty straightforward, just giving the answer right away. Others had these long explanations, talking about the history of Louboutin and high heels and all that. It was kind of interesting, but honestly, I just wanted the answer, haha.
After browsing a few sites, I finally found it. The answer was “heel.” Yeah, it seems so simple now, right? But hey, it’s the heel height. Makes sense, 120 mm is pretty darn tall for a heel. I guess those Louboutin shoes are known for their super high heels.
Anyway, I filled in the answer in the crossword and moved on to the next clue. It was a fun little brain teaser, and I learned something new about fancy shoes. Who knew?
I just thought I’d share my little adventure with you all. Maybe next time you see a crossword clue that stumps you, you’ll remember this and do a little digging yourself. You never know what you might find out! And hey, if you ever need help with a crossword, you know where to find me.
