Okay, so the other day I was feeling a bit lost, you know? Just kind of wondering what’s next in life. And I remembered this thing I’d heard about called “Make a Wish Tarot.” Sounds a bit out there, I know, but I figured, why not? Might as well give it a shot.
First, I dug around online to learn a bit more. Apparently, it’s like regular tarot, but you focus on a specific wish you have. You think really hard about what you want, and then the cards are supposed to give you some insight into how to make it happen. I’m not usually into this stuff, but I’ve got to admit, I was curious.
So, I found my old tarot deck that I got as a gift a few years back, never really used it. I dusted it off, lit a candle to make it feel more official, and sat down. I closed my eyes and focused on my wish—I won’t tell you what it is, that’s private! But I thought about it really hard, trying to picture it in my mind.
Then, the instructions I found said to shuffle the cards while still thinking about the wish. So I did that, and it was actually kind of calming. Once I felt ready, I laid out three cards, face down, in a row. This is called a “spread,” I guess. There are different kinds of spreads, but a simple three-card one seemed like a good place to start.
Here’s what the cards were supposed to mean:
- Card 1: What I wish for.
- Card 2: Why I wish for this.
- Card 3: How I can get closer to getting what I wish for.
I flipped over the first card, and it was… well, it was a picture of a person holding a bunch of cups. I checked the little guidebook that came with the deck, and it said something about emotions and fulfillment. Okay, that kind of made sense. My wish is definitely tied to feeling more fulfilled.
Next, I flipped the second card. This one had a picture of a tower being struck by lightning. The guidebook talked about sudden change and upheaval. I guess that means I want this wish because I’m ready for a big change in my life? Makes sense, I have been feeling kind of stuck lately.
Finally, the third card. This one was a picture of a person holding a sword, looking all confident. The book said it was about taking action and being assertive. So, I guess that means I need to be more proactive if I want to make this wish come true?
Honestly, the whole thing was pretty interesting. It’s not like the cards magically told me exactly what to do, but they did give me some things to think about. They kind of helped me understand my own feelings and motivations a little better. I’m still not sure if I believe in all this tarot stuff, but it was definitely a fun experiment. And who knows, maybe it will help me get a little closer to making my wish come true. I’ll keep you posted!
