Okay, so, I’ve been playing a lot of ARAM lately, and I wanted to share my experience with Wukong. It’s been a wild ride, to say the least.
I started by checking out some guides and stats online. I noticed a lot of people were talking about Wukong’s win rate being around 54.8% in Emerald+ on Patch 15.1, which is pretty good, right? And he was ranked A+ Tier, which was good for me to do some try.
I jumped into a few games and started to experiment with different builds. At first, I was all over the place. I tried some recommended item combinations, you know, like Sundered Sky, Mercury’s Treads, and Trinity Force. It felt okay, but I wasn’t really dominating.
Then I started to look into runes. I saw that Conqueror was a popular choice, so I gave that a shot. I paired it with Precision as the primary path and experimented with different options for the secondary path.
My Preferred Setup
After a bunch of games – and I mean a bunch, like, close to 97,587 games, the data I found said so – I started to get a feel for what worked best for me. Here’s what I’ve been rolling with:
- Summoner Spells: Flash and Mark. Pretty standard, but they work.
- Runes:
- Primary Path: Precision – Conqueror is my go-to keystone.
- Secondary Path: I’m still messing around with this one, but I’ve had some luck with Domination or Resolve.
- Items:
- Start: Usually something to beef me up a bit, depending on the enemy team comp.
- Core: Sundered Sky, Mercury’s Treads, and Trinity Force are my main three.
- Situational: Death’s Dance and Black Cleaver are solid choices, depending on how the game is going.
I’ve been focusing on playing aggressively and trying to snowball early. Wukong’s mobility with his W is great for getting in and out of fights. I try to use my ultimate, Cyclone, to disrupt team fights and lock down priority targets.
Honestly, it’s been a learning process. Some games I pop off, others I get stomped. But that’s ARAM for you, right? It is fun. I also found that Wukong’s ARAM win rate is around 52.9% over 12,325 games on patch 15.1 from some data.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my experience. I’m still figuring things out, but I feel like I’m starting to get a good handle on Wukong in ARAM. If you have any tips or suggestions, feel free to share them!
