Easy Printable Tarot Cards to Use (Beginner-Friendly Guides & Layouts)

Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into tarot reading for a while now, and I finally took the plunge! I didn’t want to spend a bunch of money on a fancy deck right away, so I decided to find a printable tarot deck online. Turns out, there are tons of free resources out there for this kind of thing.

First, I did a quick search and found a bunch of websites with free tarot spread guides. They are suitable for both newbies like me and those tarot masters. I mean, I do not have any experience in tarot reading before, so I chose the guide for beginners.

I spent some time browsing through different decks and reading up on the meanings of the cards. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I eventually found a design that I liked. It was a pretty simple black and white design, but it had all the basic elements of a traditional tarot deck.

Printing

  • Downloaded the Deck: I found a site that offered the deck as a free PDF download. Score!
  • Printed the Cards: I printed the cards out on some cardstock that I had lying around. I wanted them to be a little sturdier than regular paper. I adjusted the printer settings as necessary to make sure the cards were printed at the correct size.
  • Cut Them Out: This was probably the most time-consuming part. I carefully cut out each card with a pair of scissors. My hand definitely got a little tired, but it was worth it.

After cutting them all out, I had my very own tarot deck! I shuffled them a few times to get a feel for them, and I just did my first reading for myself. I wanted to get familiar with the deck first before doing readings for others.

I’m still learning, but I have to say it was a pretty cool experience. It’s interesting to see how the cards can reflect your current situation and offer some insight into what’s going on in your life.

This whole printable tarot thing was way easier than I thought it would be. If you’re interested in trying out tarot reading, I definitely recommend giving it a shot. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to get started. Just grab some cardstock, fire up your printer, and get ready to cut!

I’m excited to keep practicing and learning more about the cards. Who knows, maybe I’ll even get good enough to do readings for my friends someday. It’s a fun and accessible way to explore your inner self and the world around you.
