Farthest Frontier Wiki: Find Answers to All Your Questions and Become a Pro!
Alright, so the other day, I decided to build a wiki for this game called Farthest Frontier. Man, it was quite a journey, let me tell you.
I kicked things off by gathering some basic info. You know, just browsing around, seeing what other people were saying about the game. There’s a bunch of players who are new to this game or even to town-building games. This game can be pretty tough if you’re a total newbie, so I figured a wiki could really help out.
Collecting Information
-
First, I spent some time playing the game myself. Got a feel for the mechanics, the buildings, the whole shebang. It’s a medieval town builder, and there’s a lot to wrap your head around. Raiders, resources, keeping your townspeople happy – the usual stuff.
-
Then I hit up some forums and the community Discord. Found some folks who were already sharing tips and tricks. Some were discussing the optimal size for storage buildings. Turns out, many folks think 12×10 or 12×12, and eventually 12×24 is the way to go. And they also mentioned that villagers tend to store items in the closest storage to where they work. Good to know!
-
I also dug into some YouTube videos. There are a ton of guides out there for beginners, which was super helpful. It gave me a good idea of what kind of content people were looking for.
Building the Wiki
-
Once I had a decent amount of info, I started putting the wiki together. I organized it into sections, like “Getting Started,” “Resources,” “Buildings,” “Raiders,” and so on. Made it all nice and easy to navigate.
-
I wrote up some basic guides, like how to get your first few buildings up and running, how to gather resources, and how to defend against raiders. Those bloodthirsty bandits are no joke, let me tell you!
-
I also added in some of the tips I found from the community. Like how to find a specific building, which can be a pain in a big town.
Sharing with the Community
-
After I felt the wiki had a good foundation, I shared it with the community on Discord and some forums. I asked for feedback and encouraged people to contribute. You know, the more, the merrier!
-
Got some good responses! A few folks pointed out some things I missed or could explain better. They also started adding their own tips and strategies.
-
Now, I’m just keeping an eye on it, updating things here and there, and watching it grow. It’s pretty cool to see it become a useful resource for other players.
So yeah, that’s the story of how I built a wiki for Farthest Frontier. It was a lot of work, but it’s been rewarding to see it help people out. If you’re playing the game and have any questions, feel free to stop by the wiki! And if you have any tips of your own, don’t hesitate to add them. Happy building!
