Need Help on Feature of Many a Bodega NYT Crossword Answer? It is a Cat
Okay, so today I was tackling this crossword, right? And the clue was “feature of many a bodega.” I’m staring at it, thinking, “What the heck is a bodega?” I mean, I’ve heard the word, but it’s not like we have those around here.
So, first thing I did was hit up Google. Just typed in “bodega,” you know? And bam, a bunch of stuff came up. Turns out, it’s like a corner store, kind of a small grocery thing, mostly found in big cities like New York. Learned something new already, right?
Then, I started looking at what these bodegas are known for. I saw a bunch of websites talking about them, but mostly it was just, like, regular news articles and stuff. Nothing that really screamed “crossword answer.”
- I even tried searching for common items in bodegas, thinking maybe it was a specific product.
- Checked out some images, saw pictures of sandwiches, snacks, drinks. Nothing clicked.
I was getting kind of stuck, so I tried a different angle. I started looking up stuff like “features of small stores” and “characteristics of convenience stores.” Still nothing that really fit the crossword clue.
Then, it hit me. I remembered seeing somewhere that a lot of these bodegas have, like, a resident cat. You know, to keep the mice away and stuff. So, I typed in “bodega cat” into the search bar. And there it was, a whole bunch of articles about these furry little guys chilling in the stores.
So after all that
I went back to the crossword, and sure enough, “CAT” fit perfectly. Who would have thought, right? All that searching, and it turned out to be something as simple as a cat.
Anyway, that’s my little adventure for today. Learned about bodegas, learned about their cats, and finally cracked that crossword clue. Not bad for a Tuesday, I guess.
