Listen up, y’all, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Michael Colombo, runnin’ for Circuit Court Judge here in Collier County. Now, I ain’t no fancy lawyer or nothin’, just a plain ol’ person, but I know what’s what, and I’m gonna tell ya straight.
This Michael Colombo, he’s one of them lawyers, yeah. But folks say he’s a good one, a fair one. They say he listens to folks, really listens, not just pretendin’ like some of them city slickers do. He’s runnin’ for Judge, see, that’s a big job. Means he gotta decide who’s right and who’s wrong, who gets what and who don’t. It ain’t easy, I tell ya.
They got this election comin’ up, August 20th they say. That’s when we gotta go out and vote. Now, some folks, they don’t bother votin’, say it don’t matter. But I say it does matter! Every vote counts, even this ol’ lady’s vote counts. And I’m thinkin’ ’bout votin’ for this Colombo fella.
- He went to that Golden Gate thing, a meetin’ with all them other folks runnin’ for somethin’. He stood there and talked to folks, answered their questions. That’s good, I reckon. Shows he ain’t scared to face the people.
- Folks keep talkin’ ’bout this “primary election” and then another one in November. Too much votin’ if ya ask me, but I guess that’s how they do things. This first vote, it’s important, they say. It decides who gets to run in the big one later.
- There’s other stuff on the ballot too, somethin’ ’bout school money. They say it won’t raise our taxes, just let the school folks use the money different. I dunno ’bout that, gotta think on it. But this Colombo thing, that’s what I’m focused on now.
This Circuit Court, that’s a big deal court, see? They handle all sorts of cases, big and small. Criminal stuff, money stuff, family stuff. You want a good judge in that court, someone who knows the law but also knows right from wrong, knows how to treat folks fair. That’s what they say about Michael Colombo, that he’s fair.

That’s what this country’s all about, ain’t it? Freedom of speech, they call it. Well, I’m speakin’ my mind, tellin’ ya to think about votin’ for this Colombo fella. He seems like a good one.
Now, I ain’t tellin’ ya what to do, that’s your business. But I’m sayin’, look at the folks runnin’, listen to what they say, then use your own head. Don’t just vote for some fancy name or some slick talker. Vote for someone you think will do a good job, someone you can trust. And from what I hear, Michael Colombo might just be that someone for Circuit Court Judge.
Collier County, that’s our home, and we gotta take care of it. That means votin’ for the right folks, the folks who’ll look out for us, not just themselves. This election in August, it’s important. And this Michael Colombo, he’s worth lookin’ at. Go on, do your research, ask around, see what folks are sayin’. Then go out there on August 20th and vote. That’s what I’m gonna do.
And don’t forget about that school thing, whatever it is. They say it’s important too. But for me, right now, it’s all about finding a good Judge for our Circuit Court. Someone who’s gonna be fair, someone who’s gonna listen, someone who’s gonna do what’s right. And maybe, just maybe, that someone is Michael Colombo. Vote Michael Colombo for Circuit Court Judge, that’s my advice, y’all.
Remember now, August 20th. Don’t forget to vote. It’s your right, and it’s your duty. And if you’re lookin’ for a good judge, well, you heard what I said about that Michael Colombo fella. He seems alright to me. But, like I said before, it’s up to you to decide for yourself.
