So, I was messing around in League of Legends the other day, specifically in ARAM mode, and I decided to give Swain a whirl. I mean, who doesn’t love a good battle mage, right? I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to build this guy for maximum chaos.
First off, I started digging into the runes. After a bunch of trial and error, and let me tell you, there were some seriously bad games in there, I think I’ve nailed a pretty solid setup. For the primary tree, I went with Conqueror. It just feels right, you know? Stacking up those adaptive force bonuses as you trade blows. Then, Absorb Life because who doesn’t want more sustain in those endless ARAM team fights? Legend: Bloodline was a no-brainer for even more healing, and I capped it off with Coup de Grace to finish off those low-health stragglers.

Now, for the secondary tree, I experimented a bit. Initially, I was all about that extra damage, but honestly, it didn’t feel impactful enough. So, I switched gears and went for a more defensive approach. Shield Bash seemed perfect for that extra bit of tankiness whenever I procced a shield, and Conditioning just makes you overall more durable as the game goes on. They were both very useful in the game to help me resist longer.

I played a bunch of games with this setup, tweaking things here and there. There was this one match where I went full-on beast mode, racking up kills and assists like it was nobody’s business. But then, there was also that game where I got focused so hard I could barely breathe. ARAM life, am I right?
Anyway, after all that experimenting, I feel like this rune combination is a great starting point for Swain in ARAM. It gives you a good balance of damage, sustain, and tankiness, which is everything you need to dominate those team fights and carry your team to victory. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
