Alright, let’s talk about what I messed around with today – this thing called “Totem Dragon.” Sounds kinda cool, right? It’s from this card game, Yu-Gi-Oh!, that I’ve been messing with lately. Don’t play much, but I like collecting the cards.
So, I started by looking at what this Totem Dragon card actually does. Turns out, it’s an “Effect” card, and it’s a Dragon type, which is pretty obvious from the name. I found out that you can use this card as two Tributes when you’re summoning another Dragon monster. That’s helpful when I want to save other monsters and cards.
Now, here’s where it gets a little more interesting. I read that if this card is in your Graveyard, which is basically where your used cards go, and you don’t have any monsters on the field during your Standby Phase – that’s like the start of your turn – you can bring it back. You can Special Summon it. Pretty neat, huh?
So, I decided to try this out. I got into a few duels, just playing around, trying to get Totem Dragon into the Graveyard. Once it was there, I just had to make sure I didn’t have any monsters on the field at the start of my next turn. And bam! There it was, back in action.
I also learned that you can choose whether to use Totem Dragon as one or two Tributes. That’s a good option to have, especially if you have other monsters you want to keep on the field. If I don’t need to use it as two Tributes, I won’t.
- First, I looked up what Totem Dragon does.
- Then, I tried to get it into the Graveyard during a duel.
- Next, I waited for my Standby Phase with no monsters on the field.
- Finally, I Special Summoned it back to the field.
It’s a simple card, but it’s got some neat tricks. I can see why people would use it, especially if they’re playing a deck with lots of strong Dragon monsters. It’s like a little helper that keeps coming back. It’s not a super rare card or anything, but it’s definitely one I’ll be keeping in mind when I’m building my decks.
Oh, and I saw something about collecting “Arena Totems” in some kind of event to get rewards. I might have to check it out if I keep playing. They said you can get Orbs and even a special “Arena Booster” thing. Sounds like it could be worth it, maybe get some cool stuff. Maybe get some more dragons, who knows.
