Okay, so, I decided to do some totem pole coloring today. It’s pretty neat, and I thought I’d share how I did it.
First, I went online and searched for some totem pole coloring pages. There are a lot of them out there! I found some really cool black-and-white line-art ones that looked perfect. They said they were good for all ages, so I figured, why not?
- I picked a few designs that I liked. Some had more detailed carvings than others.
- Then, I downloaded the PDFs of the coloring pages. They were all free, which is awesome.
After that, I printed them out. I just used regular printer paper, nothing fancy.
Next, I grabbed my coloring supplies. I have a big box of crayons and some colored pencils. I decided to use both to see how they would look.
I started coloring one of the pages. I took my time and tried to stay within the lines. It was actually pretty relaxing. It’s a good way to develop creativity.
I used different colors for each part of the totem pole. Some parts I colored with crayons, and others I used colored pencils for more detail.
I kept coloring until I was finished. It took a while, but it was worth it. The totem pole looked really cool when it was all colored in.
The Result
I finished a few different totem pole coloring pages, and they all turned out pretty good! I think I’ll do this again sometime. It was a fun and easy activity.

By the way, I found a cool board on Pinterest with a bunch of totem pole coloring pages. Maybe I’ll try some of those next time.
