So, I finally decided to do something about my old speakers. They were okay, but I wanted something better. While browsing around, I came across this brand called Totem. I’m in Canada, so they’re pretty easy to find here. I heard they are famous for good sound and looking cool, so I thought, why not?
I started looking into what they had. Turns out, they make all kinds of speakers – big ones that stand on the floor, ones for home theaters, and even subwoofers. I’m not a big fan of home theater stuff, but it’s cool they have those options. I am interested in those old-style stand-mount speakers. They look like something from the 80s.
I found out that Totem gives a five-year warranty on their speakers. That’s pretty good. They even say they have parts for any speaker they’ve ever made, which is impressive. I read somewhere that some of their speakers, called the Embers, are really good. I listened to these speakers playing Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Somethin’” and it was amazing. The beat felt so strong and unstoppable. It was like the music was just flowing. This was exactly what I was looking for.
After listening, I was sold. I had to get myself a pair of these Totem speakers. I ordered them and waited impatiently. When they finally arrived, I hooked them up to my old system. I put on the same Michael Jackson song and wow, it was even better than I remembered. They sounded amazing in my living room!

- Second step: I looked through their products and found some that interested me.
- Third step: I read reviews and listened to them myself.
- Fourth step: I ordered a pair and set them up at home.
These speakers are definitely a favorite now. They’re not cheap, around 1800, but I think they’re worth it. Every time I listen to music now, it’s a whole new experience. I’m really happy I decided to upgrade. These Totem speakers have made a huge difference.
