Okay, so, I got into this whole “limited run manga” thing a while back. Sounds kinda fancy, but it’s really just a fancy name for some Japanese comic books, you know? The young folks are all about it, and I figured, why not see what the hype is all about? So, I jumped right in.
First, I hit up the internet, trying to figure out what exactly this limited run manga is. Turns out, it’s basically manga that they only print a small number of. Kinda like a special edition thing. Some are old, out-of-print titles, others are just…well, limited. Like, “Life is rough enough for a struggling young actor,” I saw that somewhere. Makes sense, I guess. Gotta make ends meet somehow, right?
Then I started hunting. I went through all the places I could think of online. Some of these things are in black and white, others are like, special prints of popular series. Premium quality, they say. I browsed and browsed, it felt like forever.
But let me tell you, finding these things ain’t easy. They’re rare, after all. You gotta really dig. It’s like a treasure hunt, except instead of gold, you’re looking for old comic books. You are finding rare manga online.

After a long time of looking, I finally snagged a few. Was it worth it? I don’t know yet, I haven’t even read them all. But hey, at least I got something to show for all that searching. Maybe it’s an acquired taste, like fine wine or something. Or maybe I just like the thrill of the hunt. Either way, it’s been an adventure.
